Summer Reading Program Schedules for BASD Schools

This program is designed for students in upcoming grades K – 8 who attend the Bellefonte Area School District.
Programs will run for 8 weeks, from the week of June 23 until the week of August 11

Elementary Schools Middle School
“Catch the Reading Bug!” "It’s a Jungle Out There!”

The elementary schools are having a bug theme which coordinates with the public libraries.  All students will receive a Library Passport, and will have the Passport stamped when they visit a library and sign out books.  Students may attend any of the above libraries for their Summer Reading Programs, and also may visit the Centre County Library and Bookmobile in order to have their Passport stamped when books are signed out. Rewards will be given at the end of the summer programs to the most avid readers!
There will also be simple craft activities for the students to complete.
